A real journey of discovery into the world of biotech, presented in simple language with the aim of engaging young people. The day’s program is divided into thematic paths and specific experiential workshops to raise awareness among young people and convey the message about the importance of adopting sustainable behaviors by promoting awareness of their choices.
After institutional greetings from representatives of FAO, ITA GARIBALDI, CREA, and INAIL, experts will discuss new Assisted Evolution Techniques (TEA) for more sustainable agriculture and their potential to reduce food waste, epigenetics and healthy lifestyles, and agroecology for sustainable development. The students themselves will present the products created as part of the European Steam Learning Ecologies (SLEs) project entitled “Food Waste Reduction and Sustainable Behavior,” coordinated for Italy by APRE, whose promoters are INAIL dit and CREA AN.
